Pallando, often called the Blue with Alatar, is a minor character mentioned in The Hobbit.

Early life[]
Pallando and Alatar were blue wizards who were fellow wizards with Gandalf, Saruman, and Radagast, who were sent to protect Middle-earth from Sauron.
An Unexpected Journey[]
While travelling with their companion, Gandalf, Bilbo inquired who the other four wizards are. The grey answers that there is their leader, Saruman. He mentioned the two blue wizards, but forgotten their names (implying the blue wizards have not been seen in a long time) before speaking the fifth wizard's name.
